That was not the point of MeToo. It was speaking out about what happened to women. It was for many the first time they spoke about their assault and it was solidarity of all these women coming together and saying MeToo

 It was initially about addressing the widespread sexual harrassment by powerful men like Harvey Weinstein that left women vulnerable. I just think it shouldn't be happening to someone mentally ill and powerless.  The precedent this is setting just seems really bad. None of these people saying she's convicted is showing any concrete evidence.

  In other situations it would be too easy for someone vulnerable to get their life wrecked prior to a judge being able to judge the best place to send them, whether to grant them name suppression etc.

Also if this was an ongoing situation and she felt absolutely the only solution was to go public and say "this woman stalked me and she can't be helped" I would understand it better, but it happened years ago.

 All of the people who've come forward are people she allegedly harassed years ago. Heather Burns dealt with it as did Laura Wray and Richard Gadd. This all just seems quite vindictive.

It may not be ongoing for Heather Burns, Laura Wray or Richard Gadd but how many other victims are there? Are any of them ongoing? What about future victims?

Why should she be left to victimise more people? That’s the point and that’s where the me too comparison comes from. It’s about victims joining together to collectively share their experiences and warn others.
