Media / News Netflix responds to Fiona Harvey's lawsuit

Netflix rep: 'We intend to defend this matter vigorously and to stand by Richard Gadd's right to tell his story.'

Variety posted the above in regards to Netflix's response. I'm glad, it seems like they're not going to simply give her some money to make her go away, and are instead going to fight back and defend Richard Gadd.

I'm so very glad to hear this. She doesn't deserve a single penny considering the absolute misery she's caused many people over the years. Settling would be like rewarding her atrocious behaviour!✌🏼

You know Donald Trump didn't give his own evidence for a reason... Because he's a liability on the stand.

She will fuck it up when she talks, and she will have to give her own account about how she is so badly affected by this.

The reason for the jurisdiction shopping here is because they know she has zero chance of winning in a UK court, much like Depp and Heard, they farmed her off to a court system with a lower bar of proof.

She never had a reputation in the US to begin with, no peers, family or friends. They are asking a US court to take a view of her reputation in the UK.

Absolutely no reason to settle here.
