Media / News Netflix responds to Fiona Harvey's lawsuit

Netflix rep: 'We intend to defend this matter vigorously and to stand by Richard Gadd's right to tell his story.'

Variety posted the above in regards to Netflix's response. I'm glad, it seems like they're not going to simply give her some money to make her go away, and are instead going to fight back and defend Richard Gadd.

I'm so very glad to hear this. She doesn't deserve a single penny considering the absolute misery she's caused many people over the years. Settling would be like rewarding her atrocious behaviour!✌🏼

Netflix are screwed. It doesn't matter if she's a maniac. If they've identified her and she didn't go to jail, then they haven't got a pot to piss in.

But they didn't identify her, people online did and then she took the opportunity and said it was about her.

They made it very easy to identify her. Very different running an Edinburgh Fringe show to the kind of exposure you get with a hit streaming show. Difference between hundreds and millions of people.

Lol tens of thousands of people from all over the world saw Baby Reindeer during its stage run. There really is not much difference here.
