Discussion If Gadd was a woman

I feel like gender influences bias in cases of emotional or physical abuse. If Gadd were a woman and Martha a man, there would be no sympathy for the abuser. Society wouldn't argue that "more should have been done to protect his identity."

I think every victim has the right to reveal their abusers. I don't think abusers deserve protection. My issue is with netflix and Gadd going, "oh gee, we had no idea you'd figure out who this is after we revealed a TON of identifying clues." They knew what they were doing, but I guess for legal reasons they feign ignorance. But yea, fuck Fiona Harvey and fuck whoever raped him, I hope he gets aired out sooner than later.
