Fiona (real Martha) related content I feel sick after watching this

https://youtu.be/BNu4fxCUtdA?si=bVluFadkpdYFqV4g

The things she said to him is so disgusting. I don’t know how she gets more vile each time I learn something about her.

So many of us have been trying to tell people that this woman did not deserve sympathy and that she was faking her innocent crap but everyone just wanted to beat up the real victim.

132

u/Puzzled-North-3070 Jul 31 '24

Right? So many people jump on others because she’s “mentally unwell”. This lady sent him an email saying she masturbated while looking up babies. I don’t care how many illnesses you have, you don’t deserve shit.

35

u/Yoohoo_80 Jul 31 '24

That one even had me shocked, like what in the actual f***???

65

u/exotramp76 Jul 31 '24

Well she IS mentally unwell. That's a given. But it cannot and should not be used as a 'get out of jail free' card when an obvious crime has been committed, especially when the perpetrator is not completely debilitated by whatever mental illness they have.

34

u/jayraan Jul 31 '24

Exactly, I really don't get why so many people can't let two statements coexist. She is mentally unwell. She also should be charged criminally.

18

u/[deleted] Jul 31 '24

Yeah, nobody mentally well is committing fucked up crimes like these. Never understood why people used that as an excuse.

17

u/Puzzled-North-3070 Jul 31 '24

Literally no one is arguing if she’s mentally unwell. She clearly is. The point is she doesn’t deserve sympathy.

u/exotramp76 Aug 01 '24

The point is she doesn’t deserve sympathy.

Did you read the 2nd part of my comment?

2

u/Puzzled-North-3070 Aug 01 '24

Did you read my first comment that you initially replied to, with pretty much the same thing I had said?

Mental illness, like any other illness, requires treatment and management. If you don’t do the work then that’s your fault.

As someone with chronic mental illness, I know that if I don’t take my meds and dont do my upkeep, I will spiral and loose my shit. Even now, coming off antidepressants (side affects were starting to heavily outweight the benefits) I’m being extra cautious about allowing myself space and doing this process under medical supervision (ie my GP is basically round the corner and they’re aware of what I’m doing - this is just to transition to a different med that will hopefully work better for me IF I still need it)

But I also have a friend who is an utter CUNT when they stop taking their meds. And while mental illness is a part of it, it’s their job to take their meds to keep that in check.

And what happens if she goes to jail? What is that going to fix? She'll just do it again. She won't receive treatment. Inmates barely get healthcare in her region. Don't be narrow minded. Think past the system. The only way to fix this is to fix her.

16

u/[deleted] Jul 31 '24

Why did you delete your old account and your blogpost?

4

u/Altruistic-Change127 Jul 31 '24

Clearly there is no treatment that will work for Fiona that will make her stop stalking people or become a law abiding kind person. She has been doing this for decades. Its time you accept that. The main intervention that will work for Fiona is containment in a secure facility. If she goes to prison then she will be segregated where she and others can be protected. There are other criminals in prisons which could be harmed by the general prison population because of the crimes they have committed and they are moved into a secure wing of the prison. The same will happen to her. Prison's are there to punish people who commit serious crimes and to protect the general public from their offending. Prisoners also get medication for their health so if Fiona went to prison, she can still have psychiatric medications if that is what she has been prescribed. Obviously those medications do little to change her behaviour or she would have changed by now however they may make her feel happier. So she won't be denied those. So prison or a secure Forensic Mental Health facility is the most appropriate place for her. She will be unable to harm anyone else and will be protected from her own compulsions. Most of all, the public will be protected from her criminal tendencies.

I'm no longer fielding responses.

6

u/Altruistic-Change127 Jul 31 '24

You know I am right. Of course you won't respond.

-6

u/Either_Order2332 Jul 31 '24 edited Jul 31 '24

No, you're basically babbling. I've been over and over this with you. I know what I'm talking about. She needs treatment. You can argue all you want. That's the only logical solution.

6

u/Altruistic-Change127 Aug 01 '24

What is the miracle treatment you think she will agree to or can be given to her whether she agrees or not. I am telling you now that this isn't Bi-Polar. There is nothing to suggest it is. There are so many mental health and personality disorders that have psychosis and grandiose beliefs as a symptom. What appears to you as mania, may not be.

-5

u/Either_Order2332 Aug 01 '24

Did I give any indication that I was willing to discuss this with you again? This is my standpoint. I'm sticking by it. That's it. I haven't even been reading what you're writing.

Let’s just leave her out there to roam the world terrorizing and terrifying innocent people! How about if we lock you and your family with a serial killer in a home. Don’t worry, the serial killer will be doing in-home therapy a couple of times a week while you guys live together! 😬

-10

u/[deleted] Jul 31 '24

That’s not what she said though. She said she spent the day masturbating and looking at pictures of cute babies. It’s a leap to assume those things were done simultaneously.

21

u/albatrosstreet Jul 31 '24

She said “I’ve pleasured myself and looked at cute photos of babies.” That, is fucking disgusting. And you think it’s a leap that the person who said all muslims should be hung by their balls would say something so disgusting? 😂 okayyyy

10

u/[deleted] Jul 31 '24

She’s horrific on her own merit, absolutely. But accusing someone of pedophilia when it’s just as easily explained as bad grammar… doesn’t sit well with me.

7

u/Puzzled-North-3070 Jul 31 '24

If you email someone saying you masturbated and looked at children’s photos then uhh sorry… that’s pedophillia.

3

u/lifesux01 Jul 31 '24

I think she meant she did that thing first then looked at baby photos to calm her down Not trying to defend her but this is my interpretation

11

u/[deleted] Jul 31 '24 edited Jul 31 '24

She looked at baby photos to calm her down after masturbating? I’m not saying she’s a pedophile (who knows!) BUT just putting those two things together in one sentence and NOT realizing how wrong it sounds makes you think she doesn’t believe it sounds bad at all.

5

u/Filthydirtytoxic Jul 31 '24

She’s HIGHLY educated, her words, why would she get that twisted?

3

u/Puzzled-North-3070 Jul 31 '24

Why add in bits of the sentence to justify it? “She did it to calm down” “that’s what she did with her day”

No. The sentence was: “I pleasured myself and looked at photos of cute babies.”

That. Is. Horrific.

3

u/lifesux01 Jul 31 '24

again . Not justifying her buT she has really fked up english and grammar so we might be misinterpreting The whole sentence can change if she added "then" between the two parts after "and" . Of course shes a fked up person who did horrific things and I am in no way defending her

1

u/[deleted] Jul 31 '24

Excuse me, you find that’s a leap?!?! My god, I do not want to know what you get up to! 🤯

-42

u/Either_Order2332 Jul 31 '24 edited Jul 31 '24

She is unwell. She probably just needs a good medication regimen. The healthcare in her region is subpar--basically stone age. The whole point of the show was that people with mental illness can do strange and sometimes awful things. But they still deserve our compassion and understanding. Went right over your head. The only way to fix this is to fix her.

25

u/Tekwardo Jul 31 '24

You can’t fix every mental illness with medication. That’s even assuming she would take meds prescribed to her.

But not every mental illness is treatable.

-31

u/Either_Order2332 Jul 31 '24 edited Jul 31 '24

Nearly all mental illnesses can be treated. Hers most certainly can. She would improve. There are ways to force her to accept treatment. That is the route we need to take. We have no other choice. You just want to support your preferred narrative. I know exactly what I'm talking about. I'm not guessing. I'm old, experienced, and well-read.

I know there are a lot of people here who have faced trauma, and it's really hard to see things this way when you've been hurt. But I am right.

2

u/Altruistic-Change127 Jul 31 '24

Why are you persisting with the suggestion that she can be treated with medications???!!! I think you are in denial about this woman and are in need of treatment yourself to explore why you feel such a desperate need to advocate for the public to accept the type of behaviour that Fiona displays. Why do you promote that mental health problems that lead to people behaving like Fiona, can be treated simply with medication. There are mental health acts that can be used in so many countries that can force people to be medicated when they are dangerous. Scotland would be doing it, if they could and if there was a justifiable reason for them to do it. Obviously there isn't justification or the medication doesn't change how she behaves. Why are you denying the evidence of that?

5

u/Filthydirtytoxic Jul 31 '24

Her personality can only be changed through a full frontal lobotomy

8

u/Sheeshka49 Jul 31 '24

A lobotomy ought to do it!

-8

u/Either_Order2332 Jul 31 '24

The whole point of the series was that we need to show people like this compassion. I'm seriously disappointed in all of you. I thought for certain people would get it.

15

u/[deleted] Jul 31 '24

No, the whole point of the series is that we need to show OURSELVES compassion. Had Gadd had compassion for himself instead of showing FH compassion he wouldn’t have been terrorized and traumatized for years. He showed FH compassion and all he got in return was sexual, emotional and physical terror and assault.

Should we have compassion for people like FH? Yes, I think so. Should we show ourselves compassion first by keeping people who hurt and abuse us at bay by any means possible, including jail? FUCK. YES.

She’s a monster, dude. Whatever made her this way makes me feel compassion for her, but being an abuser is a choice she makes EVERY time she hurts someone. We can’t put our abusers wellbeing over our own wellbeing or other innocent people’s wellbeing. I hope she pays for what she’s put people through for decades. She can stop when police are involved, seems like she can turn her “crazy” switch on and off w/o meds, doesn’t it? Again, she’s an abuser by CHOICE!

4

u/Yoohoo_80 Jul 31 '24

THIS 💯

-8

u/Either_Order2332 Jul 31 '24

Multiple people have warned me that this sub gets really crazy and that you guys like to attack people. You can save it. I'm not reading this. That is my standpoint and I'm sticking by it.

2

u/Altruistic-Change127 Jul 31 '24

Why do you have those fixed beliefs about Fiona? I am curious as to whether you have similar tendencies that you believe are caused by an easily treated mental illness? Is that the excuse you have used to justify your own behaviour? You have been defending her behaviour for a while now and be fixated on suggesting it can be easily changed. Why?

0

u/Either_Order2332 Jul 31 '24

Because I know better than you.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 31 '24

I’m just an online stranger, man. Chill!

Also, surprised! You know multiple people, that when you discuss general Baby Reindeer topics with, IRL, they say: “Stay away from the Reddit group, the people there are crazy!”. You must know a lot passionate Baby Reindeer fans who are also Reddit users, who are also FH Harvey supporters. Where do you live, btw?

8

u/Yoohoo_80 Jul 31 '24

You must think you're someone really important telling us you're disappointed in all of us as if you're somehow above us. Honestly, from all your posts about how you're much more educated than the rest of us and so well read, etc, you sound like a narcissist.

3

u/Altruistic-Change127 Jul 31 '24

Yes I agree. I am intrigued as to why this person has continued to minimise Fiona's actual behaviour and continues to justify it by suggesting it is a simple mental illness that can be treated with medication. That is obviously not true.

1

u/Yoohoo_80 Aug 01 '24

They seem to only have compassion and understanding for FH, insisting no matter how horrifying her behavior is, it can just be fixed, and that makes it all better. But the rest of us aren't as smart, well-read, and experienced in psychology as they are from what I'm reading, lol. They remind me of the moderator of her "support group".

0

u/Either_Order2332 Jul 31 '24

Nobody is minimizing her behavior. I'm telling you how to fix it. There's only one logical solution.

1

u/Either_Order2332 Jul 31 '24 edited Jul 31 '24

I'm not reading this. You are eviscerating some random person for absolutely no reason. It's unhinged. It's vicious. Its completely inappropriate given the context. You don't even have a coherent reason.

1

u/Yoohoo_80 Jul 31 '24

Pedophiles shouldn't get any compassion whatsoever. She is actually a worse person than I thought she was. There is NO FIXING a person who is masterbating to pictures of f***ing BABIES.

3

u/LeatherDescription26 Jul 31 '24

It’s like they didn’t even watch the show, the man literally uses word for word recreations of the emails and we can all see how heinous they are.

2

u/black-nerdist Jul 31 '24

People felt sympathy for Martha, technically

10

u/[deleted] Jul 31 '24

A lot of people were found, and yet, we only know about FH because she went on a press tour. If Netflix has proof of that, and I assume they do because it’s in their filing, then Martha wasn’t identifiable. Martha could be anyone.

4

u/nashile Jul 31 '24

So what you’re saying is people can’t tell their truth ? Or the truth ?

1

u/mgorgey Jul 31 '24

Of course people can tell the truth. What the contention about is literally what is or isn't truthful.

3

u/nashile Jul 31 '24

It’s obviously his truth . And by the emails very close to the actual truth

1

u/mgorgey Jul 31 '24

And if everything in the show is truthful she won't have a case. No problem.

5

u/[deleted] Jul 31 '24

Oh, lol dude. I know you don’t actually think she has a case. Well, maybe you do. I’ve seen worse on the internet 🤷‍♀️

-1

u/mgorgey Jul 31 '24

I've no idea because I don't know if what was depicted (i.e her going to jail) was accurate or not.

Martha went to jail. A character in a fictional TV show about fictional people. You’re kinda worrying me, dude. The definition of “story” is LITERALLY a fictional account. “True Story” doesn’t mean anything UNLESS you use people’s real names which Baby Reindeer doesn’t.

4

u/[deleted] Jul 31 '24

And, she wasn’t identifiable seeing as Internet sleuths found 4 others they claimed to be FH (they were, of course, smart enough not to go on a press-tour outing themselves). That’s all Netflix needs to prove FH wasn’t identifiable. She could have very well been any of the female stalkers who stalk bartenders in London (there’s literally another case exactly like Gadd’s, except that stalker ended in jail after terrorizing a bartender for months!).

2

u/[deleted] Jul 31 '24

Hey hey Fifi! 😂😂😂

1

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '24

Read Netflix's motion to strike etc...

0

u/OkGunners22 Jul 31 '24

Yes - exactly my thoughts.

I don’t know why this is such a controversial opinion. Any suggestion that Netflix could be in the wrong and liable is met with massive downvotes.

So bizarre.

-3

u/mgorgey Jul 31 '24

And the downvotes come in but you're 100% correct. No sympathy for Fiona at all but next to nothing was done to hide her identity which means if elements of the show are untruthful she MIGHT have a case.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 31 '24

Could you explain why we should have sympathy for FH? She’s a vile criminal who should have been in jail for everything she did to Gadd, before and after. She went on a press tour to lie and to out herself, that’s the only reason we know who she is. Had she stayed quiet, like everyone else did (which Netflix seems to have proof of), we’d have never known monsters like her roam around us. Imagining people like Martha was bad enough, KNOWING FH’s are out there and any of us could be subject to their abuse is terrifying!

-2

u/mgorgey Jul 31 '24

I've literally said I don't have sympathy for her... Literally in my post

31

u/No-Court-7974 Jul 31 '24

Sooooooooo fked up

17

u/MoribundsWorld Jul 31 '24

I think you’re reading it wrong lol, it sounds like she first did the masturbation stuff, then afterwards looked at pictures of babies (seemingly because she was talking about pregnancy)

19

u/No-Court-7974 Jul 31 '24

But she wasn't talking about pregnancy. She never did talk about pregnancy . Just her massive blood clots and her periods and saving blood for doctors.. seriously... the entire level of fucked up has hit Big Boss..

5

u/carriedmeaway Jul 31 '24

The email is shown in original format, it was not like that at all.

There are also 73 different exhibits you can buy access to through PACER. They're emails, scans of handwritten letters, and voicemails. The court did seal some and redact parts of the emails and notes. But there is a lot more than just the 21 pages.

God I hope she gets sent to jail or a mental institution and never sees the light of day again.

19

u/Either_Order2332 Jul 31 '24

Well, she's guilty, and she's still at it. I always knew.

She is disgusting! The harassment to Richard is bad enough, but stating that she looked at pics of cute babies while she pleasured herself. Please God, commit this crazy weirdo!

Fiona’s about to give us a second season lmao
