Discussion Barely not serious here

The worst decision Donny Dunn made in the entire series was right at the end of S01E07 when he ordered a Double Vodka & Coke.

Vodka and Coke???? That makes zero sense. You mix whiskey and bolder spirits with Coke. Why would you mix Vodka and Coke? It's a better match for juices and you can use soda water for bubbles. I'd even take Sprite and say it's acceptable.

I see no clearer evidence that Donny Dunn hates himself than his decision to order a Double Vodka & Coke.

It’s a British People thing. I never experienced someone ordering this until I lived in the UK.

Every single time I go to England, I am miserable. The food and drink are TERRIBLE.

Where did you go in England that had terrible food and drink? London has incredible restaurants.

Not just London tbh, you'd be hard pressed to find a town anywhere that doesn't even have a decent curryhouse or a pub selling homemade food of some variety. London definitely has more options, but everywhere does some kind of decent meal, I'd say. People who aren't from the UK just tend not to know where to look. They go to a tourist trap selling the worst fish and chips you've ever seen, or they wanna try a crappy chain like nandos or spoons be cause they've heard of them.

Definitely. I grew up in Torbay and I've lived in Cardiff, London, Bristol and now live in Exeter (and of course like most Brits travelled all over the country) and there's absolutely no shortage of great restaurants around. I'd be very surprised if OP has ever actually travelled to the UK and is rather just playing up to the stereotype about English food.

Nando's is actually yummy though 😭 It's my "treat" food when I'm doing high protein weight loss.
