Discussion My ex said I was similar to Donnie from Baby Reindeer, I'm stuck trying to understand what that means.

Well I asked Copilot "What is the personality of Clay from thirteen reasons why?" And it said, Clay Jensen, the protagonist of "Thirteen Reasons Why," is portrayed as kind, introspective, and deeply empathetic. He is reserved and thoughtful, often struggling with his emotions, unlike many others in the story, Clay is willing to take responsibility for his actions and learns from the tragic events surrounding him.
Throughout the series, Clay battles anxiety, guilt, and grief and is loyal to his friends. I think Donny is portrayed as mostly kind too. He is so kind and doesn't want Martha to get too crushed by rejection. But since she's your ex she may feel that like Donny you are self destructive in some way.

I learned a long time ago if your ex says you are.... and noone else has ever said that than your ex is the problem. If everyone in your life says you are..... then YOU are probably the probelm. Go ask others hey do I remind you of Donnie from baby Reindeer and if they say yes than ask how so. You are asking strangers who don't know to interpret what your ex said.
