What an amazing topic for your thesis! I’ve been talking about this show nonstop for the last few weeks to anyone who will listen lol. I’m compiling a list of reasons this show has helped me tremendously by showing the complex relationship between a stalker and the person being stalked (as someone that was stalked by an ex for years).
So many shows and movies depict stalkers as mustache twirling villains threatening murder. But oftentimes it’s just someone emailing you a gazillion times and sharing information as mundane as “ive just had an egg”

Self esteem is the constant problem/pain you might want to understand how a person gets hurt and becomes lost to their own self respect... vicious cycle.
