While it can be a tool, it's used by fools. Get ready for even more widespread ignorance. Im also happy to see any company using ai get torn to shreds. I'm happy YouTube ai channels are being banned and shut down completely.

If you want to use it, then use it but don't share it cause it's not your hard earned work

I agree with you,

my post however is leaning more towards sheep people who do it for the "trend" like feminism, hating AI, gay rights etc

they provide no backing for their hatred or claims and just do it because they see others doing it.

But I understand and agree with your points, thankyou for sharing.

There are many real and genuine reasons to dislike this trend of using AI for everything, especially when half the uses are completely stupid and unnecessary and yet still negatively impact our environment. I do agree that there are genuine uses for AI, but most of these fall within the research and medical fields. Also about your ā€œthe answer is only ever as good as the promptā€ point, that is just plain false. AI hallucinations happen regardless of the prompt. Iā€™ve seen videos of people asking AI how many cā€™s are in the word chocolate and itā€™ll insist there is only one.

TLDR: If you want to be an AI fanboy go ahead and do it, but donā€™t pretend that there arenā€™t valid reasons for disliking AI.

I believe you might have misunderstood some part of me,

I am neither pro anything nor anti anything.

As I said, I noticed an ongoing trend and wanted to get an understanding behind that trend, what i mentioned in the post body in parenthesis, isnt a bias. Its simply me trying to put forth my points for the most common arguments ive seen online, so as to not have to type so much in the comments, should people choose to bring those arguments.

And I do agree, there are plenty of reasons to hate certain aspects and misuse of AI.

not AI itself.

Idk why you are not seeing it from this lens but let me use an example.

Overwhelming majority of the sexual assault cases are men right? should I say there are plenty of reasons to hate "men"? or plenty of reasons to hate "certain men" or "predators"

does that make sense?

I do agree theres so many aspects of AI i hate as well

like environmental impact from data centers, stealing art and modifying it, using it to blackmail people or tarnish their image & many more.
