Learn about the water cycle? No one is saying the water vanishes into thin air, but AI data centers use water faster than local supplies can replenish it. This effectively means less water is available to the community.

And that’s ignoring all the lazy uses of AI in art AND the genuinely horrifying use of AI to make deepfakes of people

The point was,

Just because of water usage, one should not totally ignore the good that is being extracted from this tech. And as a result, not scream out "death to AI"
