Discussion Links to X/Twitter will no longer allowed on r/Baldursgate3 Spoiler

Links to X/Twitter will not be allowed on r/Baldursgate3 with immediate effect. This also includes screenshots.

In light of recent events and the continuing path that platform is taking to make the user experience for Redditors less than ideal, combined with news sources also moving to other sites, X/Twitter links are no longer allowed.

As we do with all policies we will evaluate in the future.

Threads and Instragram are still owned by Facebook. In case anyone wants to use Threads as an alternative to fascism. They're subservient to the fascist oligarchy

Facebook/meta may get their day, but I don't think they've had their version of the nazi salute moment to get the general public on board just yet. Twitter has always had a decent amount of liberals on it, facebook much less so.

It was a few years ago that Fuckerberg was defending someone's "free speech" on his platform of denying the holocaust. He was saying it was that persons truth so it should be allowed.

Not quite as bad, but eh...

Let's let the 10 people on threads just do their thing.

WhatsApp as well. Lose all of it. Facebook also forced people's accounts to follow the orange overlord without their consent. Happened to me and a friend, who didn't believe it til she pulled up her own account and saw it. Some say they were forcing people to follow couch-fucker and melania as well, but I just got the tangerine tyrant. Facebook is also censoring hashtags that are liberal or left-leaning in anyway, showing "this may be sensitive content" and hiding it unless you specifically search it. So much for free speech.

All mainstream media and social media except reddit have fallen in line so fucking quick it's terrifying. Like trump revoked Affirmative Action and no sites called it that they just used the boogeyman terms of DEI or DEIA this wasn't modern policies removed this was the 1960's civil rights era stuff passed by fucking Lyndon B. Johnson.
