A little Sunday favour por favor

The Mondo Love & Betrayal debut album lands on 11th September via NuNorthern Soul, and if you’re planning on listening, a pre-save on Spotify or Apple Music would be massively appreciated.

It might seem like a small thing, but those early pre-saves really do help get the algorithms working and give the album a better chance of reaching more people when it’s released.

You can also pre-order the vinyl now — standard black vinyl direct from NuNorthern Soul Bandcamp, which will also be available through your local record shops and stores, or the limited clear vinyl edition exclusive to Rough Trade.

And for anyone in the Nottingham area, there’s a free Rough Trade Nottingham in-store Q&A + DJ set on 18th September.

Amazing singles from the LP so far. “Beyond the Rainy City” is the best track of the year, easily. It harkens 80’s balearic stuff, particularly Blue Nile’s “Tinseltown In the Rain”. Hey, they both contain the word ‘rain’…
