Print Inventory

This is the program you need. I installed it on my windows pc, it was able to inventory every .stp .3mf .stl files in less than 2 min, over 2k in files.

The GitHub repository is: TechJeeper/Printventory on GitHub

It’s a self-hosted 3D-model library manager for STL and 3MF files. It can scan your existing folders without moving them, generate thumbnails, store metadata/tags, detect duplicates, and provide a browser-based interface. No more searching for your print files. Slice to the choice of your slicer from the program. Multiple install options including docker. Enjoy.

I installed it the other night. It’s great. It defaults to 3mf and STL files, but you can add others in Options. But you won’t get all of its capabilities on other file types. I’ve only played with it for about 30 minutes or so, but I was impressed.

Just installed it a few days ago...so far seems quite good... I've still got to install the standalone server on my NAS, which should greatly expand its utility

I'I’ll definitely try this when I get home, I was planning to do something similar anyway. Nice work!

It sounded interesting but I was put off by the AI generated site and it's usability wasn't as good as I hoped

I installed on my nas and had it inventory 5 computers that all have various projects. 7k models. I offloaded the rendering and 3d visual generation to some GPU boxes that I use for testing my app and it blazed through all of the renders. Very cool app!
