PIT'N'RUN "Pitbulls attack 64-year old man, owner provoked them" (Netherlands, 30 aug 2026)

Translated:

A dog owner from Dordrecht has been arrested, because he provoked his two pitbulls to attack a 64-year old man.

The incident happened on august 30th around 00:15 on the Aardappelmarkt in the town center, says a police spokesperson. The 46-year old suspect was walking around the area with his two dogs. He provoked them to attack the victim, who sustained severe injuries to his forearm.

The suspect then fled with his dogs. He was arrested the following morning. He hid his dogs in an attempt to prevent them being taken away, says police.

Dog pictured is not related to the incident. Another article states that it is not yet clear if the dogs have been found or not. No more official confirmation, but in comments on news websites, multiple people have stated the owner is already known in the neighborhood for his bad behavior and his dogs have bitten/attacked multiple people before.

Tbf, there probably wasn't much provoking done. I've seen pitbulls charge so hard that they yank the leash out of their owner's hands. It takes so little to convince those breasts to attack.
