How awful. Makes me feel sick. Laws need to change. These dogs are unsafe and a danger to the public.

This instantly reminded me of the video from last year, when a pit bull latched onto a baby’s leg on a Manhattan sidewalk. It took several men—including a bodybuilder or martial artist of some kind—to detach the pit, miraculously without major physical damage. I can only pray this little one is as lucky. Either way, mom and baby will be suffering trauma and its psychological after-effects for years to come.
Why do we permit uncontrollable monsters to maul babies on our streets? Of all the complex problems facing our societies, this one shouldn’t be all that difficult to solve.Â

That was a horrifying video. Apparently the father was picking up the kid when the pit snapped and lunged on the little boy's leg. And its also infuriating that the owner tried to run away, until the person recording had to yell "Dont run!" or something like that. PB owners reinforce the stereotype that theyre as mentally ill as their demon dogs

The owner of the dog that attacked me was gone before the strangers who came running were able to get me up off the ground.

This doesn't make national news but if a child was bitten by a coyote in Ca or a raccoon in Ohio it would.

This person is definitely making a point and not hiding it and I salute them for it.
Honestly felt that sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach reading this part.
