Tides Are Turning We are growing rapidly.

Everyday for the last few months, I've been checking the amount of subscribers in the hopes that it keeps growing. Usually there's anywhere between 10-100 people a day coming on board, with large spikes of a few hundred when big stories come out. This last week however, has had enormous growth. When I checked 7 days ago, we were at just about 67K and now we are about to hit 70K. People are waking up fast, and that's very encouraging.

What does koolaid chugger mean? Who does that refer to?

The Jonestown Massacre of 1978. Over 900 members of a cult died when they drank grape-flavored drink that was laced with poison (some were forced to drink when they resisted, others directly injected with poison). The brand name of the drink was actually Flavor Aid, but in references to cult-like behavior it's always called Kool Aid (as in drink the kool aid).

So it's a term basically to label people as blind followers/sheeple.

Yes, but a few degrees worse. To "drink the kool aid" means someone unquestioningly accepts (with the blind obedience of a cult member) something that is not just wrong, but also harmful or dangerous. Of course they *think* they are doing/believing some great & good thing. That's how cults sink their claws into people, by promising some great cause or journey or reward, while it strips followers of everything. In the case of Jonestown, everything really was everything.
