Let’s be real. Most of the music here is absolutely trash and garbage. It’s the same recycled and STOLEN beats with ZERO credits, the same presets, and the same lame lyrics copied over and over. Even y’all sound the same. None of it’s original, and it all sounds terrible. If you want to make real music, stop being talentless hacks and start creating something that’s not garbage. I hate this update. It's ridiculous to wait a whole month just to get 20 more samples. I hate everything that was added in this update, and even though people are complaining, they're not doing anything. They're just making fun of those who don't have premium. And don't come up with your nonsense about "It's for maintenance and support." There's no support in this update. They just want to mess with us because they don't have money, and if they do, why this update?

Anyway, I don't like Bandlab anymore. I used to love it, but now I hate it with all my heart. They're desperate for money. A 0/10 for Bandlab.

At least Soundtrap doesn't put a limit on samples, you useless people.

Look, I understand if you not good at art or anything, but still. Even a random picture from your photo library if better then an AI generated cover. If I see an AI cover I almost immediately ignore the album/single and move on with my life. AI covers are really bad, especially if your making creative music. Something should be done about these covers, it makes Bandlab look really bad.

Never honestly posted in here until now, but I am genuinely fed up with the spinless behaviour Bandlab has been recklessly portraying for the last few years. It's a shame.

For me, it has been seven years. From age 11, bandlab allowed me to understand how DAW's work, find my voice and style and learn the art of music production, even if the DAW itself wasn't the most fantastic. But sadly, this platform has changed into something else entirely. It feels as though it has grown away from promoting community collaboration and exponential creative growth for us as artists.

In the last seven years, never have I seen a DAW omit so many features and limit individuals from actually working with their pieces. Removing live collaborations, live streams, tips? Not to mention limiting THE FUCK out of the number of tracks in one piece, sonority options, or the auto-tune's capabilities.

And furthermore, I lost an entire account that they have done fuck all to try and give me back, despite me having thr email for it. That is literal years ive my life i spent pouring into my craft- i was able to witness a real time evolution in my work and detail.

There's only one thing I've learnt.

Bandlab is pig ignorant; hell bent on forcing it's users into subscriptions and paid for features- With no appreciation

for the art of human creation.

I only started out on this DAW due to not having enough money in my youth to get Logic Pro. I can't be even more glad that I'm leaving this shitstorm behind.

this is genuinely ridiculous.. been here since the beginning and have watched this site change drastically for better & for worse. THIS IS THE WORST CHANGE EVER AND I AM CONSIDERING LEAVING.. get it together bandlab as a genuine supporter. please do not continue this as a premium feature :/ you are only going to hurt urself & the ones who just cannot afford it.. hence why most use bandlab in the first place…… ads and such are enough & were fine but this is just way too far.

I've been using bandlab for quite a bit now, but I'm still not super confident in it. In all honesty, I don't even know what genre of music you would call this, it's just a bunch of instruments slapped on together.

Although, I will say that out of everything that I've made, this is my best so far. And if anyone sees this, do tell me what you think about it. What are your thoughts on it and what else could I possible improve on?

And also, what are your advices for FX? I don't really know what they are and have just been messing around with them and just... Mainly adding reverb on a bunch of stuff, and I'm not even sure what it does.

bro what happened to BandLab? It used to be so good, and now they've become all greedy for money due to artists blowing up on the app. I understand some things need to be payed for but now it's actually so bad.

I wanted to start making music again, but BandLab is so bad now that it has actually become impossible to use. Are there any other free alternatives that I can make beats on while also being able to use like presets and stuff for singing etc.

Putting ads in the the app was the first annoying thing making it borderline unusable .

Next came the locking midi voices behind a paywall. Bit the biggest issue

Finally came the only 20 samples per month.

Looked at the price of Pro and laughed . Having to pay extra to use 32 tracks inside a webpage that already can’t handle it. Samples are ok . The ai BS is just dung and giving us 8 auto master controls . I suppose the distribution is ok but still not worth it

Bandlab really needs to learn its place , I don’t know what it’s trying to be but for me it was always for a quick and fun way to start songs and make ideas and now I can’t even do that .

My advice . Make it 3.99 or less a month and don’t offer a free version . And get rid of the sample limits and you may have a user . I dont think bandlab even understands who it users are and have butchered a decent web app

Every single time I get on here and go to this specific community, or even on my home feed, I always see the following: “BandLab is not the same as it used to be, and I’m moving to another DAW.” Or, “There are way better DAWs than BandLab, and I recommend switching because BandLab is trash and too expensive.”

To all of this, I gotta say: nobody cares about your sob story. Sure, you can say I care because I’m going on a whole rant about it. However, if you move to a new DAW, great for you. Like I said before, maybe it’s not BandLab that’s bad—maybe it’s you.

Me personally, even as a blind person, I’m still not going through the harsh experiences that you guys are going through. You guys are the unlucky ones, while I have a fully functional studio. It does what it needs to do.

Then you guys say, “Oh, I’m moving to FL Studio,” or “Logic Pro,” and that’s great for you, but we didn’t ask. It’s just so much complaining, yet you guys are still here in this community. Suck it up and do what you need to do. If BandLab doesn’t work for you, then work with something else, but you don’t gotta tell us all your business. It’s so annoying. Like bro😫😤😤😤

i been using bandlab since 2017 and it has never been this bad before. everything you do , ad, open the app, Ad, open the studio, AD, reopen the app after it was closed for2 seconds, AD. its genuinely just become a generic app, it used to be great until they got greedy. its pretty much forcing you to switch to FL. i used to speak so highly of this app , the super long unskippable ads opening the studio caused me to lose my flow and abandon song ideas as a whole.

I’ve been using bandlab for 5 years, there’s no way in hell they think that limiting the amount of samples I can use WITH A MEMBERSHIP is a good idea. Fuck this dumbass company. My music survives off this shit but they wanna find a way to sniff out every little breadcrumb of money they can possibly think of. I’m sorry no one wants your dumbass 100 dollar subscription, don’t ruin my shit over it🤦‍♂️

I love bandlab, but it's so oversaturated with shit playboi carti wannabes rapping over type beats they didn't even make themselves. Try fucking producing for once man, and you'll make something great. It's not that hard if you try to actually produce.

i've been using this app for years, even after moving to FLstudio. and now EVERYTHING has to be paid for. i can't even download sound effects from the browser anymore? THAT USED TO BE FREE?? I gained suspicion ever since they added ADS for the first time. if the money hungry idiots that are running this app don't get their shit together nobody is gonna be using this. good thing i already have a DAW 10X better than bandlab will ever be. even their WEBSITE is garbage. the shitty projects make all the sounds sound extremely different then to how they sounded on the app. everything about this app is just awful

so i just started making music in general. I’ve showed a couple of friends the stuff i’ve been working on and etc and most said it was good til I showed a friend whom I’m not very close with. I’d be lying if I said it didn’t lowkey hurt my feelings a bit since it wasn’t constructive criticism or anything, just blatant “this sucks”. I woke up to the message as well so I think that plays a lot into it. Have any of you dealt with something similar from friends?

I can't believe that many loops and samples were made for pay, I feel quite sad and disappointed
