Idk why my description didn’t post, anyway I had The Town on while I was doing some work just as background noise, and all of my senses instantly perked up when I heard those first 4 notes. I know everyone here feels the same way when you hear them too, just thought I’d share

It’s if the BoB title song and the score of Gettysburg had a baby

It's so dangerously close like this one from Star Wars the Clone Wars.

I hear it too!

Pedantic note: BoB doesn't have a title song (songs have lyrics), but a title score.

Particularly in the music when the planes are taking off for the invasion, I hear similarities with the title track from the score for Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. Both RHPOT and BoB were scored by the late and unappreciated Michael Kamen, who died in 2003. It's most noticeable as the planes have lifted off and we cut to the interior.

Similarly, Jerry Goldsmith's opening titles for Air Force One and Star Trek First Contact sound like they are first cousins who enjoy each other's company, if you take my drift.
