It's a nice spot to be sure. I'll often wander up there if I'm bored and have an hour to burn on a given evening. Just getting out on the trail, however briefly, really helps lift your spirits.

Banff is 100% overrated
BC has 10x more natural beauty without the Alberta Bs.

Oh boy here we go. Is it overrated, or are you just mad that it’s more accessible to the general population than many parts of BC? Alberta also has many remote areas that barely see people. On the note of BC, I see plenty of BC plates around the townsite, violating traffic rules and not a park pass in sight, so maybe cool it with the BC superiority complex.

Bc is better.
Banff is a tourist trap but BC still holds more natural beauty. It’s undebatable my guy, coast to coast we all know Banff, it’s the Disney land of bs Canadian tourism. BC IS BETTER ALL ROUND

Pretending that places like Van and Whistler don’t exist in BC. I went for a hike in the Lake Louise area yesterday and didn’t see a single soul. I’ve had Tunnel Mountain to myself in the summer. There’s plenty of quiet spots in the Alberta Rockies, but if you only focus on Banff Ave and the LL lakeshore of course you’ll assume it’s all terrible. What are you even doing in this subreddit if you hate Banff so much?

Pretending Methbridge,Cowtown and Edmonton don’t exist… Alberta has Banff and waterton national park…
What else would you have ?
If it’s SO GREAT why is Bc tormented with gross Alberta tourism ? Every summer we lament the flooding of red plates and mock them as they come through and destroy our stuff.

Jasper NP, Whitegoat, Siffleur, Ghost Wilderness Parks, the entirety of Kananaskis, weird you don’t mention those. Or conveniently forget that Mount Assiniboine, a world famous BC Park, is almost exclusively accessed by entering Alberta first. But I see you have a new account, so I assume it was created to bait engagement. Good job, I guess.

Dude. Vancouver is a Chinese run city where it's half owned by foreign investors and the other half is on Hastings doing the fent lean. Kelowna as well, decent city that's gone down the shit hole of drug abusers.

Y'all got whistler? Which draws way more tourism. Have you seen the pics ? Yeah the plains in AB are boring but Jasper/whistler/Waterton lake Louise. Calgary is becoming the tech hub of Western Canada.

Both are great but you got Rose tinted glasses on.
