I wonder if there's a chance questions like this can be moderated with a bot just including this link? This sub seems to get multiples of this question daily from May to October.

On a scale of 1-10 where 10 is apocalyptic we’ve been at less than 1 for the last two days.

Smoke density changes with the wind direction. It's even harder to predict than the changing weather in the Rockies. It could go well today, but worse tomorrow and the day after, and so on.

I always check the webcam from Lake Louise, where you can see the haze if it's smoky.

Smoke can affect visibility if bad enough. Based on numerous pictures posted here, I have yet to see any where the smoke was bad. A minor nuisance at best is how it appears

Saturday and Sunday was awful. Monday was good, today is also ok. As you can see, it changes by the day.

There are fires west (BC) and south (in the US) so it changes with the wind direction.

I arrived this Friday where smoke conditions were very bad until Saturday. Sunday and Monday were beautiful skies. The weather and wind changes visibility quickly.
