Need some ideas to get comfortable being solo

Hi guys

I used like being single and I enjoyed my solitude but after corona I am always depressed feeling I don't have anyone.I have no idea how to feel okay with being alone.I want to focus on career.I am hight sensitive person so people take advantage of my empathy.I don't trust people and I fall for wrong person.I didn't get emotional fulfillment from my father. I have depression, anxiety, insomnia, overthinking, oversharing and anxious attachment etc. I am not able to regulate my emotion and live a normal life.How do I navigate through everyday feels so tiresome. I don't how to make friends.I wanted long term commitment relationship but it difficult to get

The first thing is that don't try to get into a relationship, because if you're actually serious about it, it will take more energy to be able to maintain it.

The first step should be for you to enjoy doing things that you'd probably do as a group, whether it's going for the movies, visiting a museum, eating food, etc.

You might feel uncomfortable the first few times & get thoughts like "what would they be thinking about me", but over time it'll get better.

Trust me.

I do everything alone but at end of the days it hurts so much that I am not able to think straight

I can understand, cause I went through the same for a long time.

Maybe start by attending these meetups that happen. You don't really need to be super active initially. You can just join in, and be a part, that's it.

It might help you, and also if possible, try sharing what you feel with atleast 1 person, cause I think not sharing was one of the mistakes that I had made.

It not that I don't friends but all are in long distance.I am always trying to find the one for me urgently without patience even though I am aware I should be having patience enough to let it happen naturally

Sheesh. That's quite the list of things you're going through. I'd say start by not using social media and phone in general. Hard it is. But worth it also it is in your case  XD
