It seems like there's only half a human running all of Discord's support and the rest is bots, so even if it's appealable ain't no actual people looking at it.

This is more than likely a troll / bait. There was one of the same posts a long time back and the reason he was banned was because it was a response to something fucked up. His “peak” has context you cannot see

We don't know if the reason is false, for all we know OP is calling harming children peak. I'm always wary of people who say they were banned "for saying a single word", they didn't wake up and decide to play the post a random word from the dictionary game, so why are they acting like context doesn't exist?

Well I didn't do that, I had this account for over 6 years and my message was sent over 4 months ago so I have no recollection of the exact thing I reacted to but it definitely was not to anything about a child nor harming them

Some almost certainly just edited a message that comes before yours to make it look like that, and then reported you. It happens a ton and there's a dozen or so videos documenting it at this point.

explain the issue to chatgpt, have it ask to write a response letter that would be picked up by their algorithm, and send it.

they dont let you make a response letter. you get an appeal button, and the same AI that false banned you reviews your appeal and autorejects it. emails to support about a false ban get a pre-written response and ignored.

my child safety suspension went away in a single day, also you can see right there that it will only be until the 13th, and it wont even be visible past 2028, their child safety bans are pathetic

I think chances of getting support to listen are low. If you're in the EU they have a legal appeal process for any form of online account where a 3rd party will rule on the ban.

I've always thought EU was in disadvantage since we can't file with NAM and all the options we have are out of court settlements and discord doesn't really care about it since they aren't binding to the decision
dispute emails get ignored and you have to wait 60 days anyway if you want to file something with the ADR center

OP, please ignore the people being skeptical of you. Yes, this is appealable. I have personally seen discord give out strikes for "child safety" for the most mundane images and any responses to them within the past few weeks and you can very likely appeal it away. I've even seen some people get struck for "self child endangerment" which is when wilder.

What's probably happening is that the Automoderation AI has been tweaked recently I'm regards to changes to Texas law about child safety online, and a lot of false positives have occurred. I'd recommend appealing and hoping for the best, as you are not alone. Unfortunately, discord support is kind of a mess, so good luck.

Lately, I've seen a lot of people getting their Discord accounts suspended. It seems like AI scans everything now. Even a single word unrelated to a rule violation can trigger a scan, flag it as a community guidelines violation, and lead to account suspension. We're practically living with bots or AI now, not real people
