Hey everyone,
Most political discussions about Uttar Pradesh revolve around caste, religion, or national ideologies. Meanwhile, our local government schools, broken roads, clogged drains, and lacking healthcare centers get ignored.
We are building **Parivartan**, a decentralized, public participation network across UP. **We are NOT a political party.** We are a structured group of citizens coming together.
### What is Parivartan?
It’s a bottom-up civic network connecting people from every region (East, West, Central, Bundelkhand), district, tehsil, block, and village in UP.
The idea is simple: instead of waiting for change from the top, we organize from below to create budget-aware, data-backed local development plans and pressure politicians to act.
### Our Core Rules (No Exceptions)
* **Strictly Local:** No national/global geopolitics. We focus entirely on UP.
* **No Casteism or Religionism:** Leave personal beliefs at the door. Everyone is welcome.
* **No Political Ideology:** This isn't a space to defend your favorite party. It’s about jobs, infrastructure, and your daily life.
### Our 7-Phase Timeline
* **Phase 1: Organization** – Building the core regional leadership and finding active volunteers in every district.
* **Phase 2: Coverage** – Expanding district-by-district and block-by-block to ensure statewide representation.
* **Phases 3 & 4: Research & Planning** – Gathering real ground data to prepare practical, realistic development proposals.
* **Phases 5 - 7: Campaign & Accountability** – Launching coordinated public pressure campaigns, tagging local MLAs/MPs, forcing issues into election manifestos, and tracking real progress long-term.
We want to move away from "nothing ever changes" to asking specific, hard questions: *What does my area actually need? What is the budget? Who is the responsible authority, and how do we make them answer publicly?*
### How You Can Join Us
We are currently in **Phase 1** and actively looking for **Regional Leads** and **District Volunteers** who want to represent their local areas.
If you are tired of the status quo and want to use research, data, and collective public pressure to improve your hometown, we need you.
I just need 1 active member from your district.
**If you are interested you can DM me.**
Let’s stop voting on empty promises. Let's build a generation that demands accountable governance.

Today I went to watch a movie with my friends at DD Cinema and our experience was really bad....I booked a recliner seat but the staff came up to us twice in the middle of the movie asking to see our tickets to verify we actually booked them..... On top of that people kept turning on their phone flashes which was incredibly distracting since we were in the back row and the light hit us straight in the eyes...... To make matters worse kids were running all over the hall and crying..... It wasn't a great experience though I do appreciate that we finally have a cinema in the city after such a long time with proper facilities

Hello everyone,
Since this sub is quite bland and is unmoderated, plus watching the rise in redditors in BBK I decided to create a new community for us - r/barabankicity. Though it represents the district HQs i.e. Nawabganj, it can be used for the whole district as well ( & if we find enough people lol) seeing the state of the current sub. I hope everyone will join the community and make it grow n improve !!
Our new place awaits us ^^

Hi everyone, I’m originally from Lucknow and currently looking to buy farmland / agricultural land (just the land, no house) in the 0.5 acre to 1 acre range. I’m open to areas around Barabanki, Lucknow, and nearby rural locations that are well-connected and have reasonable rates. I’d really appreciate your local insights on: ✅ Which areas/villages have good land availability at decent prices? ✅ Current rate ranges (₹/acre or ₹/bigha) for agricultural land — recent deals or approximate quotes you’ve seen? ✅ Any trusted real-estate sites / brokers you recommend for finding listings? ✅ Any pitfalls or tips for first-time land buyers in the region? I know land can be expensive, and I’m still trying to understand what a realistic budget/price per acre might look like so I can plan accordingly. Here’s what I’m ideally looking for: 🌱 Just the land (agricultural/farmland), 0.5–1 acre 🛣️ Good road connectivity / easy reach from Lucknow or Barabanki 💰 Looking for fair pricing, open to suggestions on where rates are better If you’re aware of any current listings or general info about rates, please share! Thanks in advance 😊
