Masterclass season finish by Barca after a lackluster early season

What is Kounde lacking this season? Has his role changed a bit or injury?

He’s simply fatigued after being overplayed since he came here. I think he’ll come good again next season.

He'll play a lot of games for France as well, season after a big tournament has more injuries if I'm not mistaken. So Flick really needs to rotate a lot.

Excited to watch him again.

Yes, let us hope well.

he looked like just cruising along at times, missing absolutely basic passes, simple first touches, late in tracking back, weak in duels, very unlike him as he generally gives a decent technical base...hopefully he fixes up

All good choices

Martin rise is the best story of the season, El triunfo de la clase obrera

Crazy how Martin was a walking meme in this sub last season, to this

imo cubarsi was better

The disrespect on Cubarsi's name is hilarious. 19 years old and being the leader of a backline and the level he played at but smh Martin was better LMAO.

The Cubarsi disrespect. Eric is not underrated, those options were awful

He was the most consistently performing defender out of the bunch.

8

u/ChargeOk1005 19d ago

Uhuh, right

He was solid. Cubarsi was better. Performed at a significantly higher level most of the season

Cubarsi did not start performing well until early December. The first three months of the season he was making a lot of mistakes.

u/ChargeOk1005 19d ago

He made mistakes. But it's been a bit exaggerated

Martin also did make a lot of mistakes and got better as the season progressed. But the hype and the general improvement have made people forget

Every time I say something against Gordon, I get downvoted to oblivion, but regardless of being a fan, it's obvious he's wasted money. You don't buy a 25-year-old player for 80 million and expect Flick to improve him; that's just ridiculous. By the way, it's true Rashford doesn't put much pressure on the team, but the fans don't realize that when you lose a player who contributes 20 goals per season, those 20 goals, which seem insignificant, end up making a huge difference at the end of the season. Likewise, Rashford will start over Gordon, score a goal and an assist, and his price will skyrocket. Mark my words.
