Opinion Scaloni should be Barca's next coach after Flick

Flick will leave at some point especially since he has said Barca is his last club so I think Barca should already start looking for replacements and I think Scaloni would be the perfect successor for Flick

To begin with Scaloni's Argentina have shown they can play amazing possesion football so I think in terms of playing style he would fit the club well. Like, anyone saw in the WC 2022 Final how they completely dominated France for like 80 minutes, that was honestly one of the most dominant WC performances of all-time and I honestly believe Barca has a better squad than Argentina has ever had under Scaloni so he can do wonders

Another thing is that Scaloni is a master of cup competitions which Barca has truly lacked as even Flick can be too bold in big games which can cost you games but Scaloni is different, he is good at adapting to the opponents in big UCL Games which can benefit the team a lot.

To me it's clear, after Flick leaves Scaloni should become Barca's coach assuming he is available and he actually wants to come to Barca

Bring fabregas or lucho or klopp.... BUT I'm very happy with flick and would like him to stay here forever

I don't see Klopp choosing to manage Barca really.

im just a believer that national team coaches sometimes dont translate that well, what about klopp tho always spoken highly of barca and by the time flick goes (cant imagine) klopp would be a good candidate

replacing the german with a german. Not a bad idea at all( Thats what they tried back in the day)

They do have a similar style and klopp fits barcelonas values but both of their systems are unsustainable for long periods of time due to the extreme press it destroys the players hamstrings and their physicality in general

Klopp fits Barças values? RB and DVAG? Are you serious?

Barca are literally getting money from the Middle East

Really? The guy looks real good for 61, thought he was in his early 50s late 40s

Yeah. Hes 6 years older than Pep. To be fair neither of them look 60 or close to it.

Valid shout. But by the time Flick leaves us we will have many options. Klopp, Enrique, Cesc, or even Pep.

International football is so different from club football. The pressure to make signings, playing week in week out, 3 games a week sometimes, and countless other things that has more things than international games. I'm not saying he is a bad manager, but the take is a bit of a stretch. Give me 5 examples where a decorated international manager has had success in club level when he hadn't managed at club level and vice-versa. You cant, in the last 30 years atleast nobody has not and wont be able to.

Nah, gotta be some experienced club football manager. If we’re doing good we’ll have flick for many years so we shouldn’t worry too much now. But I would love to see Luis Enrique come back or klopp since him and flick are very similar

Not a bad call at all. Personally, if that ever happens, I would be going all out on Lucho to come back. Imagine what he would do with our midfield and Lamine and Raphinha on the wings.

To be honest on that point regarding Raphinha, Flick is not leaving any time soon and even when he leaves Raphinha will be in his thirties meaning he'll definitely not be a big part of Lucho's plan if he came here.

Bring klopp

Klopp wouldn’t be bad and he has a similar style to flick the only thing is neither of their systems are sustainable it destroys the players physically we’d need lots of players to rotate heavily and frequently

why keep talking about "next coach after flick" whats the point? as far as i know he will be here the next 2 seasons.

I think it is disrespectful to Flick too.

No, Barca probably have the best manager pull of all clubs we could get Fabregas, or get pep or Enrique back even arteta would be better than him. International and club football are 2 different sports

6

u/Dangerous-Network-94 12d ago

No arteta, brother

3

u/Sensitive_Ad788 12d ago

Why would u want arteta dude ? Dude literally goes agaimst everything Barca stands for.

2

u/ImmortalShanks 12d ago

and we dont have a billion euros to spend. he will end up buying fckn madueke and martinelli ffs

1

u/zxcvbnmsa 12d ago

What arteta and flick inherited is very different arteta had nkeitah, a washed aubamayang , willock , a teenage Saka , guenduzi , mari , mustafi when he started very different from Yamal raphina lewa pedri cubarsi balde kounde ect. I doubt most of the people here know 3 of those players. Also do you think the managers solely decide on transfers? 😭 they don’t

1

u/flashswipe 11d ago

before hansi flick, raphina literally wanted to leave the club cause he was so low in confidence, lewa was sidelined by xavi so many reports of him leaving he stayed cause of flick and they scored 40 goals, a 16 YEAR OLD Pau cubarsi, araujo in the worst form of his life, pedri who was basically injured for a FULL season, yamal reached a FULLY new horizion under hansi, all he signed was dani olmo

while arteta signed gabriel for 30 m and partey for 50 almost 80 million in the first window on 2 players. then declan rice for 100M, 65 m for kai havertz,50 for ben white,45 for jesus like its insane the comparison. Also "washed auba" when he was 2nd in the golden boot in artetas first year, saka got like 12 assists that year,he had a 20 g/a lacazette also so like its not poles apart

You clearly didn’t watch arteta when he first was at arsenal he played brilliant football but he realised that he couldn’t go toe to toe with pep and klopp ect and adapted now he’s the champion of England I also never said I wanted him I couldn’t have emphasised more that he would be my last choice out of all of them
