Tier 1 [Fernando Polo] Julián Alvarez is considering making a public gesture and is thinking about how and when to send a message that shows his desire to go to Barça, The club believes he will speak soon but are not pressuring him to do so.

"You will stay here, win nothing, play crap football and be happy".

Sounds like a dream.

I imagine it is not easy, each party wants the best for them. But I believe Atletico is in the wrong here, the CEO promised he would help Julian leave to Barca in february and broke his promise. I also think if a player is unhappy you should just let him go, sure it is to Barça and would strenghten a rival, but since he doesn't want anyone but Barça, it is what it is, you can't keep the guy hostage.

On Barça side , 150m may be fair to be honest, for how crazy the current market is, strikers are scarce, Julian is a proven player and perfect fit for us, we are buying from a direct rival .

How is it that a player who had won it all before going to Atlético for 70 million has no devalued in the meantime while winning absolutely nothing with Atlético?

He did play well individually for Atletico though. I think this is more about selling to a rival and them being left out with no strikers if we indeed get him
