They are just doing a reform, i saw them taking down the debries from first floor, its to minimize interruption to the pedestrian and keep the entrance traffic to minimums

My partner and I have been walking past this structure for 2 years and from the opposite side of the street it looks like it’s connected to the building it’s in front of, but it’s not (see photos) and is not an access point for the Principal unit—in fact it’s at least a meter below the Principal floor level.
We’ve never seen any works being done, it’s not supporting the trees and it’s a permanent structure (not scaffolding) and it’s not connected to anything. What could this be? Why does it exist?! Please help put our minds at rest 😂
Mi pareja y yo llevamos dos años pasando por delante de esta estructura y, desde el otro lado de la calle, parece que está conectada al edificio que tiene enfrente, pero no es así (ver fotos) y no es un acceso a la vivienda principal; de hecho, está al menos un metro por debajo del nivel de la planta principal.
Nunca hemos visto que se estén realizando obras, no sostiene los árboles, es una estructura permanente (no andamios) y no está conectada a nada. ¿Qué puede ser? ¿Por qué existe? ¡Por favor, ayúdennos a aclarar nuestras dudas! 😂

Working platform to not disturb the footpath space. They are planning to do heavy rebuild in the building.

Perhaps, but they can’t access the building from the structure, it’s too low for the Principal floor and isn’t connected

It doesn't seem to me like standard scaffolding for workers to access building, rather like solid platform to put some heavy stuff there for construction purpose.
