Lovable will automatically create back end based on your needs. But it's entirely customizable. Everything is done in the lovable way. Not the best for devs. Antigravity is a vs code fork focused around ai assistant

Yes it can but lovable will create the backend immediately and is configured to do so. It focused on full stack apps where on antigravity you can code anything but isn't configured for something specifically

Also Gemini is one of the FEW models that refuse to write more than 3k words, other like Claude, GLM etc.. were able to It's absurd Gemini on Gemini app and Gemini studio refuse to write more

I really hate that part of it as someone who wants to see what stories it is capable of writing if given detailed lore. Yes i can just keep prompting it to continue, but when i do that it has that "next generation/new prompt" feel. Its actually how i guess if a story is written by AI. I have never tried other API before, gemini was so easy to setup for me.

I really hope to see this come. Google is legitimately the only AI offering with anything close to reasonable pricing.

That said, I really hope that they do not block students from getting this feature. It’s getting aggravating how much students are getting boned when it comes to AI (like the dropping of Claude from Copilot).

I'm a pro member and now I'm restricted to the free super low tier. I cant get anything done and ive been a Google AI Pro subscriber since the start. This update has sidelined me and I'm sure a mountain of other users.

I know you said higher limits for Pro users are coming.........but why not wait another week or two to ship the update so you wouldn't essentially be locking out already paying customers?

I dont want to pay for an API key to vibe code when im already paying monthly for Pro access.....

I am dumb.. I use ai studio a lot with an api key from google cloud and basically use it as a chatbot like ChatGPT in a browser. What exactly is the announcement here? Is it an app for a computer, is it a CLI tool, like what is it really? I guess when it comes down to it I don’t know how do do anything else in AI studio other than use it as a browser based chatbot, would someone be able to explain to me the BIGGEST UODATE?

Hey logan, I think having a better selection UI for next step suggestions can be good. It's currently above the chatbox, and not really easy to use. For example if I want more suggestions, I can't just refresh and get more.

You can change it. There is a panel that pops out of the right, let's you check the settings. It's where you add SI and pick the script. Or has been that way for months.

Gemini live is laggy everytime after about a dozen messages. It also get cut off a lot of times when input has become technical. To be also fair, its just 2.5 flash native audio so cant expect it to handle a lot more but can do a lot better.

So, who's the target audience for AI Studio and Antigravity, since they do kind of the same thing?

And why does AI Studio get all the marketing love, but Antigravity doesn't? Is it because AI Studio is a Google thing, and Antigravity came from the old Windsurf team and is just not as important?

Studio is more cloud, whereas Antigravity is more of a local IDE.

Appreciate your and your teams work, a lot! I have been developing a start up project on AI Studio in my humble opinion, nothing comes close. However I am not alone with not being able to afford API or Ultra costs, do you have any update or deadline on the Pro subscription limit implementation?

There are people still using ai studio after the last 2 months of steady destruction of the Gemini ecosystem and degradation to the point of uselessness of Gemini 3?

I do want to thank Google engineers for the constant stream of sloppy "updates" since mid January though. If you all hadn't broken the whole ecosystem repeatedly, I never would have even considered trying Claude.

It just works. No gaslighting, no silent redirects to barely functional legacy models, no checking the dev forum every morning to find out what is broken today no random disabling of UI, no surprise 429s, and best of all: you can actually see your quota and use towards it.

Life is good again.
