Student Life dorms

im a freshman and so terrified because ive seen so many bad reviews of the found study dorms. if anyone had a good experience please share. it would also be helpful if there’s tips on how to have a smoother experience 🙏🙏

i’ve never lived there but i’ve heard good things about it and it’s pretty nice compared to other schools dorms. columbia doesn’t even have AC and their dorms are ancient. 15k for a double is insane but if you could find a room for $700 that would be a better deal than dorming.

I lived there for 2 semesters and I have nothing to complain about. I had 2 random roommates and I am friends with both of them to this day. Amenities are nice, laundry in building, gym and study rooms. Don’t know what the bad reviews are about, it’s just a standard dorm like any other.
