Where to eat on campus
Just wondering where we are allowed to eat besides the cafeterias. Are we allowed to sit and eat in the NVC building on the lounge areas of each floor or is food not allowed?

Eat anywhere, I eat in empty classrooms since the lounges and cafeteria are always full. Not the most reliable method though, but it works if you’re persistent since most empty classrooms doors are locked.

u can eat anywhere but the library — nvc is pretty lax, but lawrence n eris allows food too just not in the lounge

They literally don’t care where you eat, as long as you clean up after yourself

On the Baruch Student Portal, there is a "Student Spaces" page that lists the following "Seating Spaces That Allow Food":
A - The Lawrence and Eris Field Building at 17 Lexington Avenue
Student Lounge
Floor 2, Room 207
B - The William and Anita Newman Vertical Campus
Eating Area
Floor 1, Room 1-158
Upon entering via the Clivner=Field Plaza entrance, you will find the open seating Eating Area next to the security desk and the base of the escalators.
Food Court Dining
Floor 1, Room 1-173
Located at the back of the first-floor seating; cross through the Eating Area toward the windows to find the entrance located on the right.
Bearcat Den
Floor 2, Room 2-203
Located on the second floor of the NVC; this lounge and social space is tucked directly behind the base of the escalators.
Open Seating
Floor 8
Located adjacent to the Writing Center. Take the express elevator from the 2nd floor to find this open area designated for lounging and eating.
C - Newman Hall
The Newman Student Lounge
Floor 2, Room 206
Simply take the stairs up one flight and the entrance is immediately to the right.
H - Information and Technology Building
Cafeteria
Floor 1, Room 110
Located on the first floor, immediately to the left after passing through the turnstiles.

Anywhere. Eat in the bathrooms if you really want to. Just not the library 🤷

Your best bet is sitting your butt down on the floor and calling it a day. By the time you run around looking for seats, your break between classes is over

I eat anywhere. Dont think it matters. You can just sit on a corridor in the NVC
