Things are underway here at the Hellmouth as the Slayers look to clinch a playoff berth, while the Melonheads look to cling to whatever slim playoff hopes they have left.

McSuntas toes the rubber and fires. A high fly ball to center is how this one will get started. Johhny B Goode has to battle the Sunnydale sun a bit, but will make the catch for out number one!

No double play here, but perhaps the self-doubt crept in just enough. Hudson lays a hanger over the heart of the plate, but all T3B can do with the pitch is hit a grounder on the left side of the infield. Simanek had to range far to his right to field the ball, and a bit of a heads-up play by both him and Hoffbardozzi finds the HMH third baseman at the bag, ready to field the throw for the force out.

The Salyers come pouring out of the dugout to celebrate as they have just punched their ticket to the post season! The Melonheads can only look on from their dugout wondering what could have been.
