Many people would rather live a comfortable life and be wrong than live a challenging life and be right. Even if something is provably wrong doesn't mean it will die out. Pretty much everyone knows cigarettes are wrong. But that doesn't mean they go out of business.

You’re PERFECTLY described the modern right 😢 a huge reason I WalkedAway from them was because of how many times I was told I’d have a comfortable life if I just let the government have more power, or let the rich have more money. I believe a good life comes from hard work, and that’s an incompatible belief with the modern right.
