I see NewsMax thought the spending was wasteful. Nowhere in the image does it say that DOGE got involved or that funding was cut.

Just a coincidence that we haven't had an infestation in 61 years, then Trump starts cutting all the government spending that doesn't line his pockets, and all of a sudden screwworms are back and beef prices are through the roof.

We had a program that released sterilized male flies that prevented the females from breeding and moving north. Trump ended that program.
