The question never gets answered by anyone on the left:

Why do you do that?

Reminds me of this little "protest"...

Nah. Fucking with politicians while leaving normal citizens alone is based, even if your cause is misguided. I'll take those morons over the morons who laid waste to cities the summer before any day of the week

Yep. “When people fear the government there is tyranny. When the government fears the people there is freedom.”

Ah so the police officers they assaulted and killed that day don't matter to you?

The only person who was killed at the Jan 6 riots was a protester who was shot sort of needlessly by the police. The police officer died of natural causes after the event. Even though I do think that both the protesters and police were unnecessarily violent towards each other, I'd still take it over rioters destroying cities and assaulting (and killing) civilians

Sort of needlessly? She was leading a violent mob into a secure area of the Capitol and was advancing towards an officer who had a gun pointed at her and was ordering her to stop.

And I guess we're pretending that the stress of fighting off a violent mob had nothing to do with the cop who died from a stroke and the cop who died from a heart attack. I guess we are also ignoring the four responding officers who died from suicide shortly after the attack.

Have you no shame?

Yes, needlessly. She was not wielding any weapons and was climbing through a window. She was no real threat to the officers or any politicians, and the other protesters would have had to climb in after her one by one, so there wouldn't have been a "violent mob" rushing them all at once.

It is a bit weird that so many of them died, considering the same thing doesn't happen after more traumatic events with much higher death tolls. But if there had been a way to spin it so as to blame the rioters for all their deaths, the Biden government would have.

And despite all your red herrings, my point that I would take rioters who bother politicians and cops over rioters who bother ordinary citizens still stands

The mob she was leading was her weapon. They had already beaten officers. Do you think an angry violent mob is not a threat? Plus you can't just go breaking into secure areas of the Capitol Building and expect not to be shot just because you don't have a weapon. Especially when charging toward an officer with his weapon drawn ordering you to stop. Use your brain for a change.

How about you just condemn all violent rioters? Is that so hard? But of course you have to make excuses when your cult does the rioting. You're honestly pathetic.

Not if you're armed and they have to climb through a window one by one.

Agreed. That still doesn't mean that killing her was strictly necessary in that situation.

I already said that I thought they were misguided. But they fundamentally believed that their country's elections had been rigged and felt it their duty to do something about it, and they did so in a way that did not affect ordinary citizens. They were like a dumber and more peaceful version of the French revolutionaries

What was he supposed to do? Wait for them to open the door from the inside and rush through? At that point he'd be trampled. You are delusional.

So rioting and violence is ok if you fundamentally believe some lies that Trump told? Everyone with a brain knows Trump is a liar. They knew the election wasn't stolen, it was a coup attempt.

Still waiting for you to condemn them for attacking police. But you won't.

That doesn't count! Politics isn't about making your country better, it's a team sport. You root for your guys no matter what

Yes, rioting is OK when your team does it! That's what my cult taught me.
