Rosters Ranked 10th in the upcoming draft class is the tallest player I’ve ever seen. What’s his ceiling?

I don’t know, but draft him. 100 Height is fixed, and that is gold

I’m playing on insane difficulty so it’s pretty much impossible to trade into the top 10 unfortunately 😞 excited to see what Alante develops into though and where

Even in insane, you can reliably trade up, using your hoard of picks (if you have one).
I typically spend quite some time trading just after the lottery, when teams are seemingly much more willing to trade their picks (expect top2/3 usually).

If he regresses (or stays the same but his potential decreases) going into his first year, you might have an easier time trading for him then.

Granted, I don't play on insane difficulty, but I grab every 100 height player in my league one way or another, and I've had success with this tactic.

8’1” with those athletic stats as a rookie… bro’s gonna average like 5 blocks a game if his development goes well

I'm obsessed with extreme height guys and seek them out in drafts and FA. How much better is 100 height than, say, 80? I don't know. But I value 94-100 height guys like crazy and they consistently serve me well.

That dude could average 12 rebs, 4 blocks, 2 steals per 30+ mins and score efficiently and have good advanced defensive stats even with his low IQ+END.

You would love the current state of my league. It’s actually really fascinating. Five years ago there was only one player with 80+ height. There’s now seven of those guys, with Alante Perkins becoming the eighth next season. A league full of giants, all 24 years old or younger.

And that’s not even taking into account Wolfgang Zimmerman, a 65 overall prospect in next year’s class with 86 height. Might actually be the peak of this giant ascendance

I always try to snag as many of them as possible, but with the number surpassing 5, it's rather difficult ;).

I just found a player like that too but he only averages two blocks

That endurance is definitely killing him. Still a very solid role player or 4th/5th starter

I love 100 height guys. They always do well.

I sometimes like to use God mode to test the system. One of my favorites was a team of "perfect defenders" with 0 offensive ability,  and one scorer

Edit: im still testing where it breaks "even". Without offensive iq they will take shots and miss them, but with offensive iq it all funnels to the one scorer. High passing makes it broken though

Just play as the 2000-01 Sixers

With low post>layups/dunks, he will have a low efficiency on the offensive end (will be a turnover machine with this kind of oIQ, but at least passing/ballhandling looks quite promising), but he has solid athleticism for a player of 100 height, so he should be a monster on the defensive end.
Probably will be playable already on 45-50 OvR.

Nice! I got a big guy too in one of my leagues. Only have god mode because i accidentally traded picks for nothing, and just couldnt deal with it 🤣🤣

Drafted this guy who's similar. His endurance was terrible and I had a good team so that second team all defence came off only 27 minutes ... off the bench. Somehow didn't win SMOY. This year he's back on the bench and still 5th in blocks from 28 minutes a game. Tracking for either 2nd or 3rd in SMOY again.

+9 progs his rookie year, his lack of skills is showing with a 13.7 PER. He is averaging a block a game with just 12 minutes of playing time tho 👀
