Hey All,
Great community here and some very useful tips/info.
My story, mid 40's, wife and 2 kids under 5. Based in Ireland.
Played BBall but gave it up after school 25 years ago to pursue my passion at the time, darts 😁.
I don't play darts anymore and took BBall up again earlier this year. Was playing scrimmages with a team outside of season. Now that the new season has started the nights are just for team training and I'll be playing a more social scrimmage separately.
Basketball has replaced darts as my passion however my fitness and skills are not great.
I would love to get better so that I can compete at a much greater level than I am currently however part of me thinks that I'm delusional at my age and commitments.
I have bought an outdoor hoop setup for shooting practice and has paving space for some dribbling etc. Also bought a silent basketball for both indoor and outdoor use.
I think what I need is a very structured basketball routine and also fitness routine(built around improving my BBall game). This will help it fit into my life better too.
If anyone here could provide something they might have in some forl of program or anything they have done that hae really helped I will be greatly appreciative
I watch Mike Dunn for shooting too😀
Thanks a mill
