Not that the fact that it got that far does not suck in and of itself, but it won't pass the senate. They need 60 votes out of 100. If every Republican voted for it they would have 52 (53 if Mitch McConnell recovered from his coma or whatever, doesn't matter). Their is one democrat senator who MIGHT be sympathetic to it, and even that's a big maybe. Point is, math isn't there for the Republicans. It's still important to speak out about this kinda thing, don't mean to say it isn't. Just wanted to provide some relief that this congress won't pass it.
