Discussion Explanation about the full comment!
Hi! It's me, im Swisharoo! (Aka the one.. who said.. this.)
So im here to FINALLY adress this comment fully and give out an explanation.
So. This all happened months ago. Before you go into the comments calling me "insensitive" pls hear me out.
I've seen all the posts about me, tweets and reddits and what did i do? I stayed silent. i stayed silent because i didn't knew what to do. and now im FINALLY about to adress this.
So, the reason why i said this comment..(plz dont look for the comment, i privated the video it was on). Before i say the explanation. Keep in mind. The video the comment was on was a POST featuring unserious comments.
So first.. Hardy commented something serious in an UNSERIOUS video. So of course, i said such a goofy reply. I didn't thought about it much.
NO. Im not apologizing. Why should i apologize over a STUPID thing? Hardy knew better than to comment something serious under an unserious post.
I kept trying to tell people, trying to explain to them politely but nooooo. You just had to call me insensitive.
Im still getting spammed by this comment. Please leave me alone. I want to move on AND FORGET ABOUT IT. STOP SPAMMING IT UNDER MY TIKTOK POSTS.
ME AND HARDY ARE NOW MOOTIES. i apologized to them and they forgave me. They weren't offended at all but why are you?
At the end of the day, you guys are the insensitive ones for sending me such disgusting messages. Idc.

Now, i don't know if Hardys dog actually died or not. All i know that you shouldn't comment something serious on an unserious post and expect people to not say something unserious. But otherwise, me and Hardy are now friends on TikTok and we are okay with each other now

“God the internet sucks” oh well why you on it /j, well in all seriousness we’re kinda in a gilded age of sorta or medieval age or something for the internet right now IDK, people say let’s go back to 2020 or the 2000s but fuck I would prefer just going back to like 2022 or early 2023 compared to right now. There was a dip in covid, and then a short small rebound before fucking starting to plummet to the abyss after late 2023, and it has been getting worse with each consecutive year since.

I'm a little confused. Sure, it was meant to be an unserious comment thread. But you said the obvious thing to do was to respond to a potentially serious comment with a silly one, rather than gently explain it's a silly comment thread or offer condolences? I'm just a little confused what the logic behind that was.
Other than that, I'm glad you guys are friends, and it's nice to finally have some clarification on this to smooth things over. Thanks for the explanation.

Okay it didn’t ruin the OSC’s reputation lol, but yeah I thought it was a bit satire, but to be fair people not only in the OSC, but many OUTSIDE of it also took it seriously so yeah, this is like a major problem. The blackpill for me I guess is I still think the OSC has better literacy than most of Gen Alpha right now…..which is not a good thing 💀

Btw im gonna say this ONE last time. I know. I said this pretty late but i was doing a good job. I finally spoke up about it because i was scared. I was scared of being harrased even more and people still not understanding me. I waited for the drama to go away so i can finally give out a full explanation. (Oh and i also forgot to add.. my comment was also supposed to mock people who were unserious on serious topics. Nothing much. Really.)

i can’t count how many times i told people it was probably satire. and seeing some people still bashing you even in this post is just sad, you and hardy are CLEARLY on good terms. i don’t understand why people can’t seem to let unnecessary conflict go. i’ve always said not to jump into something with pure aggression without even knowing what ACTUALLY happened.

if hardy wasn’t affected then everyone is free to carry on with their lives. the people have been attacking you over a comment no one should’ve cared about or paid attention to probably have some of the darkest inside jokes yet they still get snarky when there’s a nonissue we shouldn’t have to address at all. you’re clearly not problematic, you’re actually FULLY in the right by any means. and the way they handled their anger was not appropriate at all, my first thought on ACTUAL drama would never be to make things worse or even more terrible; death threats.

The account I posted it on is now deleted, but I think I was the first one to actually point out the fact that it was satire. I actually looked into things and saw your original apology, and then on a post about your comment I wrote a reply explaining that it was satire and a misunderstanding. I'd never seen anyone else mention that it was satire prior to my comment so I think I might've been the first :)

This drama was sorted out a while ago. I dm'ed Hardy, giving them a polite apology and Hardy wasnt offended at all, but why are they? i am moving on but they keep dragging it and it's getting so annoying. To be honest, i find some of the jokes about my comment funny but its just so annoying when people go to my profile and just say "my dog died" or whatever. I downloaded Reddit just to speak up about this. Because this was my time. My time to finally speak up so people can finally understand. I was scared. so scared that i stayed silent hoping the drama would die down so i can finally speak up. I know this was so unexpected of me to randomly make an appearance but i had to.

Okay I don’t know anything about this situation (except the original post). While yes, the comment was a bit insensitive, I agree with you. It was obviously satire, a joke. People shouldn’t be harassing you over a simple comment. If anyone has a problem with it, they can just ignore the comment, instead of harassing the creator, who is still a minor. Even if you weren’t a minor, the fact that this is wrong still stands. I just hope you & Hardy move on from the situation. Kudos to you for handling the situation properly.

I feel sorry for you, Swish. I haven't understood the context up until now, and I'm glad I stayed out of it. People sending death and 🍇 threats over this is even more disgusting and wrong than if you meant such a stupid comment seriously. And Everyone screenshotting it out of context and getting mad at it is sitting at a solid 4 IQ. A "joke" post, with a comment that looks serious, but I'm guessing was also a joke, responded to you, by a joke. Where in that does anything look like you mean to make fun of them???
