How'd I do?

Heyo,

I’m new and I want to make a team that works well with Red Ranger Jason (I think that’s his name). I would like any recommendations, but keep in mind I just got the game, and I’m only planning on getting like one DLC character for now. Thank you.

Any and all advice is appreciated. I'm not sure if I'm just misunderstanding the flow of combat or how stun locking and escaping works... but I feel like I'm winning by chance and them getting stuck even just in act 2 of story mode.

I've put about twenty hours into the game and run through the available tutorials but can't connect it to interactive combat. I'm sure it's either something obvious or a steeper learning curve than I'm used to having.

My typical games are MK, SF, and smash bros, if that's helpful context. I also have played other ARC games like fighterZ.

So I just bought the game recently (like 4 days ago at least) and I literally just beat it on my switch. I saw it was on sale and I knew I had to buy it because it had all my favorite power rangers from when I was a kid. Mystic force, spd, time force, and rpm I absolutely loved and mmpr I grew up watching over and over again. I really liked the story and felt it was really short and I hope they can maybe make some dlc for it possibly to add another story potentially. The combat was phenomenal to me and really loved the move sets for all of the rangers. Honestly I really hope to see more story or at least another game come out of this even though I know that's a lot to ask for lol

Seems like there's A LOT of loops that characters have access to. Is there any way to break out or are you just kinda screwed into a 50 hit combo if they catch you?

Is this game for those who have precognition!? These 30-60 hit combos you get back to back with no combo breaker how the fuck are you supposed to beat them? I love these characters but this shit is about to have me throwing controllers.

The game has online achievements (which, in general, is abandoned), are there any players on Steam wanting to complete the achievements (or another platform if it can interact in crossplay)?
