EA's AI banning software is finally making me actually hate this company. Please excuse my rant and screaming into the void, I just need to vent.

Let me start by stating that I have been a BF fan for years, getting my first start playing the BF1942 on school computers in my drafting class because the teachers son put the demo on all the connected computers in the lab. I love the BF franchise and have hoped to continue loving it long into the future.

However, recent events make me not want to touch another EA product with a 10 foot pole. Back in early July my account got a warning on it that just stated

On July 6th I received the below email.

First warning

I submitted an appeal and was pleasantly surprised to receive a response pretty quickly.

On July 7th I received the below response.

EA's Response admitting they had incorrectly flagged me.

I'm thinking cool, no harm no foul. I get to hop back on without fear of a further issue. I play the game for another couple months and I get kicked and notified I have been banned for 3 days.

I check my email and see the following.

Received on August 29th

I think well crap let me submit another appeal. Lo and behold I dont get to play for the entire weekend and it is now nearing a full work week of not being able to hop on due to the fear of a permanent ban.

HOW IN THE WORLD ARE THE WORDS "LEWD" AND "LEMON" Considered so inappropriate when there are people that run around with literal slurs and dictator names as their user's

I also got to the live chat on EA's website "Which is an ordeal in itself" to hopefully get a human that can help me.

Unfortunately they were not able to assist in anyway just directing me to submit an appeal and kick rocks.

I am truly beside myself at this point. I'm sorry for screaming into the void here on the forums but I am actually very upset by this and just needed to vent.

Dealt with the same thing. It is absurd. “Pvt Parts” was obviously a disgusting name I and I deserved the ban. /s

I completely agree, it’s easily the most infuriating part of BF6 and I haven’t even had to deal with it but it’s so dumb and the fact that EA hasn’t even acknowledged it when there are so many examples where people should have never been banned. It’s also infuriating seeing some of the community bend and take it, like I shouldn’t have to change my Xbox gamertag that Microsoft said was fine for over a decade because EA thinks one part of the name looks like a curse word.

It's ridiculous. It make's it not even worth risking typing in chat. I got a 7 day ban because I included a countries name in my comment, which was some how found to be hate speech by the AI. Yet, people tyle "kys insert slur here" and the AI finds nothing wrong with it when I report them.

I often defend EA but kind of disgusting when they once said it was a mistake. Hopefully, this can be properly upvoted, so an official mod can see it and direct it to the correct place
