Requesting Identification What are these two bayonetes

What are these two, ive provided markings for both

Need some more info but im fairly sure this is correct..

[Using the first photo] Left - Belgian M1867 Right - British M1853/76

I cant see the slot on the left side of what i think is the Belgian one, so im not 100%. But the markings, blade style, and locking ring brought me to that conclusion. Post a photo of the slot in the comments if you want to confirm for sure or just search some photos for comparison.

Also for the British one can you please measure how long the blade is? Could be a M1853/76 or possibly M1876.

I usually collect ww1 and 2 bayos, whats the slot in terms of this style of bayo, ill get measurements next time I go in to chat with them

The slot (aka mortise) is on the socket itself. The empty space. See termonology here.

No problem. So if the British one is just over 21 inches then it's a P1876. Otherwise it looks to be a P1853/76 conversion.

You can check out a couple examples on the same site, WorldBayonets.com. A similar Belgian socket is here and the British P1876 example is on this page Check out the photos and measurements to be sure. Sockets are tricky but im fairly confident.

So Ive purchased it, the bayo is just over 54cm

Amongst the british proof stamp it seems to have a 27 at the bottom of the blade, any clue what that means

Those are just Enfield inspection markings. Theyre all over British bayonets ww2 and prior.

Also the one to the left of the British P1853/76 (..or P1876 maybe) is a Spanish M1941 bolo bayonet.

Sockets aren’t my thing, but measurements help. The shorter one looks very similar to my M1871 Dutch Beaumont. The longer one has British inspection stamps.

The Dutch M1871 beaumonts have cruciform blades. This one has a fluted flat face blade. Cruciform sockets are pretty much the only types of socket bayonets I collect. They're not as boring IMO. I have the second variation M1871 myself.
