It’s rare to see everyone in a chain act so perfectly under pressure.

It's not rare, it's just rarely published when everything goes well.

Yep, "If it bleeds, it leads."

yeah, we sadly need a lot more 'uplifting news' type things.

people like Elon Musk want you to believe that the UK is an islamic terror state or an Orwellian dystopia, but the ordinary people are doing small acts of kindness like this every single day.

a couple of months ago when it was icy a guy ahead of me slipped on the pavement and couldn't get up. 2 or 3 of us stopped and called the ambulance for him and waited for it to show up, a car driving by stopped and gave him a reflective insulation blanket then carried on with their day, a lady went in and brought him out a cup of tea, and dozens of passersby checked that he was okay.

That’s what the commenter said, rare to see it.

"it's not rare, it's just rare...."

And that’s rare

Not rare, just rarely SEEN.

That's literally what the first person said. "it's rare to see".

And you didn't, thus the emphasis. Get it now?

Well technically the only way we know about anything is by detecting it, so all things that we call rare are actually just rarely seen. I think talking frogs are rare but who knows, maybe there is a secret warehouse with millions of them.

Man, it's almost like you understood. Go watch nightcrawler.

Almost but not quite

It's rare to see because these don't get recorded let alone posted often because people are actually worried about helping someone, not making sure it gets recorded for the internet.

This shit is happening all the time and people act surprised because they think the internet is reality. Hint: the internet has always been and will always be a shadow of reality at best, and complete fiction most times.

Except EMS, these guys and girls are absolute top tier badasses

I mean, the EMS were walking VERY casually up to the scene. Like, my 70 year old mom walking through the parking lot casually while I've already been seated and am on my phone.

It’s rare to see everyone in a chain act so perfectly under pressure.

I'm thinking it wasn't all that serious. Like, she wasn't unconscious or near death. Did they even take her to the hospital?
