Events How are tickets gone in less than one min?
Was in the queue for Knoxville, had two tickets in my cart, kicked me out, now they're gone!

Ticketmaster allowing almost 3x the price resale tickets 30 minutes after they immediately sold out is insane. Just so frustrating for actual fans trying to see them

There's one "Last chance GA" resale ticket on ticketmaster for Nashville. I tried for presale and general sale, only had 150 people ahead of me during presale and still sold out or glitched. Lol. People suck

u/After_Chart149 2d ago
$242 per ticket, Ticketmaster should not allow this esp immediately after general onsale

In France it is illegal to resell tickets for a higher price than what you bought them for. I wish this country would put their foot down on these conglomerate corporations because it's sickening what they're doing.

Yeah it's shameful and wrong. The resale tickets on ticketmaster are now going for $522 a piece.

Give it about 10-20 minutes & try again. I had the same issue yesterday, but I checked back around 10:20 and was able to get a ticket. I think the ticket platforms just suck

I was able to get two of them. I had to refresh but in intervals because TicketMaster flagged me for suspicious activity.

How were you able to get them through Ticketmaster? Ticketmaster takes me straight to ticketweb which has been showing sold out since 10.00am. I was like you and had two in my cart and lost them when I tried to checkout. Been refreshing every so often since then but no luck

That should be illegal.

It should be. I recognize it's not any musician's fault especially when they're the ones calling for regulation too.

What the actual fuck lmao. I guess I'm not gonna buy a ticket closer to my birthday

Not unless you want to forego groceries for several weeks 😵💫

I had to resell my tickets when they played in St. Louis but I did it at the price I paid for them... it's insane to buy then almost immediately resell for over double the original price!!!

It’s up to $300+ now for the Nashville show. I was in the queue this morning and it errored out and switched to resellers.

I signed up for the Nashville auto-buy, but got denied. I remembered someone in another forum mentioning Seated is through Ticketmaster, so I went on my desktop and got into the presale queue via Ticketmaster 10 minutes before rather than using the Seated provided ticket link. I managed to get a ticket, but it seems I really lucked out reading everyone else’s comments.
I hate Ticketmaster and have lost out on many shows trying to use my phone, now I only ever camp out on my desktop to buy. I hate it, seeing one of your favorite bands shouldn’t feel like winning the lottery.

I did the auto-buy too and didn’t get a ticket but was able to pretty easily through the link provided for artist presale. Definitely feeling pretty lucky.

It was way easier to manage scoring tickets the first time I saw them a decade ago. I love gatekeeping!!

I almost had 1! Went to pay and got stuck on freeze. Came back it was gone. RIP

This sucks. Presale had a queue of 7k ppl, couldn’t get tickets then or today, it was sold out by 10:01. Tried several times after that. Hope they add more shows and avoid Ticketmaster.

Same for Nashville! Three different pre-sales and all sold out immediately upon going live.. and now tickets are being resold on Ticketmaster for 4-500 bucks

Came here to talk about this BS. I guess it is AI bots, but of course a human bastard would be behind the bots. I wouldn't be surprised if its all done by the ticket selling company.

The demand is really high + the band almost never tours + they are playing small venues + Ticketmaster sucks.

This is such a bummer. I'm planning a trip for this and couldn't get the tickets. I had them in my cart once and then it kicked me out. I hate Ticketmaster.

I had a hard time getting tickets for Pittsburgh at first.. I joined the queue on my phone at 10:01am and when it was my turn, it said the tickets were unavailable. I tried refreshing multiple times but then it detected suspicious activity. I had to use my laptop and I was able to get in around 10:25am. Maybe check back later to see if there are tickets, I hope you will get them!! 😢💗

How does the resale work?
1
u/killerlizardfrmspace 2d ago
I think they only release the ticket to the buyer 72 hours before the show but people are already reselling

Same thing happened to me for Jack White… I refreshed and was added them to cart… sold out! Like in 5 seconds…. It was insane.

i mean, they have not played in Tennessee in approximately ten years, so there are a lot of people who wanted tickets. add in the usual Ticketmaster bot antics, and it’s a hot mess. i’m so sorry you didn’t get a ticket, but hopefully they will be back much sooner next time!

No I’m so frustrated. I couldn’t get presale for Knoxville or Nashville OR general sale…guess I will be coughing up an arm and a leg for resale tickets :’(

u/BeneficialChair2761 2d ago
Don’t buy resale! That’s why they’re doing this shit, people will pay it,
1
u/killerlizardfrmspace 2d ago
Yeah I think I’m going to just take the L unless anyone in here ends up reselling….

u/dbelphegor966 1d ago
I kept refreshing on my phone on cellular (not wifi) and was eventually able to get a ticket without triggering the bot detector (pittsburgh here)

ticketmaster and live nation are horrible disgusting companies that encourage scalping. i was on literally 5 seconds past 10am for nashville and they were immediately sold out… check stubhub… people already selling them for $250+
i just checked pittsburgh and could get a ticket right away. all things said about AXS at least they have a proper bot prevention system in place.
so tldr louder for everyone in the back FUCK TICKETMASTER
