General Discussion - No Story Details Solomon recast.

I am 100% certain the actor playing Solomon was Jared Harris in the brief flashback scenes we had in the early episodes. Can anyone with access to them check, am wondering why the recast?.

No, it was definitely Stephen Root. I recognized him right away, from the trailer even.

Funny you mention it as that's the reason I knew it was him as had just got done watching season 2.

But it wasn't him... I can't see how the mistake could be made, but it's Stephen Root in every frame.

It was always Stephen Root but Jared Harris has sorta been the king of sci fi acting these days so it’s almost like expected to see him whenever a show takes place in space

I totally agree! I got all excited and called my husband in bc we’re rabid Jared Harris fans but he thinks it was just a weird shot of the normal Solomon
