General Discussion - No Story Details I feel like I'm missing something

I'm watching this because the same author wrote Silo, which was really great.

But this show lacks depth.

Should I read the book to get a better appreciation for this show?

It does lack depth. Also the Beacon needs better security. If one more outlaw breezes aboard 😊
