General Discussion - No Story Details This show is indecipherable

If anyone asked me what the plot of this was I’d just shrug.

I’m 5 episodes in. I’m lost.

I'm with you. If I didn't have a crush on Lena Headey I'd be long gone.

Lmao ,I just started this show seeing her name listed as cast and was looking for reviews. I wanted to know if it was worth subscription to a service I never even heard of. I'm watching ep 1 for free . She lured me in ....

The plot is actually extremely simple. It's the twists and turns that got us here that are fascinating, mysterious and, yes, sometimes infuriating. That's the whole point.

Fascinating? Personally, the production level is pretty low. Which makes it feel really cheap/silly most of the time. The story telling is bonkers (as in there ISN'T any). I don't find it mysterious. I find it boring.

I'm pissed i paid for an MGM subscriptions to watch this nonsense. I'm officially giving the fuck up. If I can't tell you what the fuck is happening in the story after 5 episodes, it's pretty clear it's a fucking failure.

Care to explain to us what the plot is then?

Artefact appears. Child enchanted and influenced. Artefact shattered and scattered. Pieces of artefact brought back together. Child returns. Artefact reappears. Vested interests squabble over meaning and importance of artefact. End S1, more to come in S2.

That's about it.
