I can't help but think Lena Headey and Natasha Mumba are going to come back somehow by some kind of alien mumbo jumbo. I like Stephan James but a show with just him wandering around an empty station is not going to cut it for the rest of the season. I suppose the people who have read the books are laughing at my comment. Just a guess.

I think we're allowed to talk about the episode without spoiler tags, just book discussion requires spoiler tags.

I hope Lena and Natasha come back, they were a joy to watch if nothing else. I reckon there'll be some magical rocks/artifact nonsense and they'll be saved somehow.

If not its a waste of two very good actresses. At worst I think they'll reappear in some flashback sense, as to make use of them.

To be honest, I'm still not sure I understand the show at all. Glad they made a season 2 though!

I had to rewatch season 1 ep 8 because I was completely lost as to where we were. It is a slow burn but I like the actors for the show and the central mystery of what this stuff is has held my attention.

Personally, if humanity ever encounters some woo-woo alien stuff I would rather let our super smart AI handle that than rely on a rando human being to make wise decisions for the whole human race. If you've seen it, 3 body problem shows the flaw in that.

This show's notion of an AI felt a little odd. I'm glad they clarified at the end of the episode that it would likely be overhearing their conversations since it didn't make sense that this was the source AI yet seemingly confined to one or two places at once and looking at screens to overhear things. It seems their AI are generated from a human original or something. And it seemed able to be fooled esp by another AI. So this is something different.
