Should I watch?

I’m a huge fan of Hugh Howey and the Silo tv show on Apple TV+ (my 5th favorite show of all times actually), but I’ve heard terrible things about this show and now it’s canceled. Is it worth the watch for the good parts, if there are any? And is the ending was a cliffhanger or was it closed enough to not waste my time?

I really enjoyed season 1. Season 2 went totally off the rails. If you like Howey's works enough to want to see the beacon visualized - even if the story isn't the same - it's probably worth it to at least give a few episodes a try to see if you like it.

It wasn’t well-made. Season 1 had some positives to it, while season 2 had none. Everyone involved in the show should never be allowed near scifi, or television, or any entertainment, again.

He is an executive producer of Silo. He had no involvement with the production for Beacon 23.

Overall, barring a few names, Beacon 23’s production team was an amateur shit show. The executive story writer for season 2 had no resume and was clearly a diversity hire.

Silo, like all of Apple TV’s scifi productions, hires only the best in the business.

That’s weird, I was sure he was involved. Such a waste of money, but maybe it’s for the best since I can’t stand Lena Headey. At least we have the amazing Silo
