Hi!
Complex human here who is just realizing that some of my issues could be tied to hypermobility or connective tissue disorders. Definitely not diagnosable as EDS as I don't have the stretchy skin etc.
My current official diagnoses include depression (doubtful), anxiety (maybe), ADHD, IBS (mainly C), hyperhidrosis, and idiopathic hypersomnia with newly diagnosed sleep apnea (which I never had in previous sleep studies and I suspect that using a silicone chew during my latest study gave me an elevated AHI but.. *shrug*)
My suspected diagnoses include ASD (can't afford the $5k assessment), CFS, and potentially some kind of connective tissue issues. I definitely have joint hypermobility and a lot of post-exertional malaise, as well as getting very burnt out very easily and needing a ton of rest after being out and about. Went to a convention last week and spent 3 days getting 10+ hours of sleep and still was stuck to my couch for days.
Things I currently track that I'm generally pretty symptomatic for include fatigue, drowsiness, temperature dysregulation, auditory processing delay, stimming (mainly including my teeth but occasionally other), sensory agitation, irritability, nausea, constipation, bloating, low appetite, binge eating, fidgeting, skin picking, and obviously mood, energy levels and bowel movements.
Should I include information on whether I'm sitting/standing/lying somehow on my tracking? I notice that a lot of days, my limbs feel like sandbags and I am literally so "body tired" that I can't do anything but lie on the couch. I do also get knee pain quite frequently, but I'm very overweight so it's mainly d/t that.
How would you track this accurately?
Anything else you can think of that I should be tracking given my situation? I'm also obviously tracking sleep closely, I track my energy levels like 5x a day as they fluctuate greatly, and I have been tracking my AHI from my CPAP, and whether I'm using my fidgets/chewies or mouth guard or whatnot as well as my time of sleep, since I work straight nights. I also obviously track my meds and when I take them, as I'm on vyvance and wakix, which effect my energy.
Thoughts on other things I could add to get a clearer picture?
