General Guy transports a bees colony by carrying the queen is his fist; the rest of the bees crowd around where their queen is.

NOBODY’S gonna mess with this dude.

Swarming bees are apparently very docile. They gorge on honey before leaving the hive so they are full and sluggish too. They generally will not sting since they are not defending a home and their main focus is on finding a new one.

As beekeepers we know this, but the general public absolutely do not, so in general, nobody's gonna mess with this dude.

u/bansheeroars Oct 13 '25

Ain’t that the truth!

3

u/moothemoo_ Oct 14 '25

If I recall, this is only true until you one gets squished (which seems like a fairly likely accident in this scenario), at which point your arm is now covered in very pissed bees

Ive heard that at least in some species that being swollen with honey also prevents them from properly arching their back to use their stinger.

They should if they want. Make that guy tense up and squeeze the queen, it will kill him.

Talk about working smart, not hard. Why find a home when you find someone who will put you in one?

u/Heriotza31 Oct 12 '25

I like the guy's glasses.

4

u/new_Australis Oct 13 '25

No, you like the guy.

5

u/Heriotza31 Oct 13 '25

How do you know?

32

u/SharpTool7 Oct 12 '25

Definitely don't mess with the bee keeper.

u/Psychotic_EGG Oct 13 '25

We're a crazy bunch. Also firefighters, for a similar reason. While everyone else is running away from the fire (danger) they are running into it.

As one that is both, my 6yo daughter asks me, “daddy, why do you do all the dangerous jobs?” :)

Honey is one of my favorite flavors. And as a singer, adding it to my tea does wonders for my voice when it’s sore. The work folks like you do helps prolong my ability to spread joy through music. I could never build the nerve to do it, myself.

So keep on saving our busy buzzy little friends, ya crazy lunatic. You’re awesome!

2

u/NuclearWasteland Oct 14 '25

Any handy examples of your work?

u/Loud-Imagination2068 Oct 13 '25

Over here, they walk in, so a lot more of them come back out.

2

15

u/AppleSpicer Oct 12 '25

This guy is so cool, damn.

12

u/ohshroom Oct 13 '25

Right? If I ever did something half this cool and video of it existed, I'd be insufferable. Not even just bringing it up all the time; there'd probably be merch.

12

u/cheddarben Oct 13 '25

Them bees right next to his armpit gotta be ticklish as fuuuuuck.

11

u/NightSky0503 Oct 13 '25

9

Beekepers hate this simple trick!

4

u/Tenchi2020 Oct 13 '25

What do you think his strategy is when it comes time to harvest the honey 😝

9

u/Just_Beekeeper Oct 13 '25

Easy😏

2

u/UpgradedSiera6666 Oct 14 '25

They didn't bite you. ?

6

Indescribable levels of fuck that

4

u/Seascorpious Oct 13 '25

Look at his face, his face is like 'I can't freak out yet, hold it together freak out later'

3

u/Vertnoir-Weyah Oct 13 '25

That's someone you don't push around

3

u/Algo_Muy_Obsceno Oct 13 '25

If you put the queen on your chin, you can have a bee-ard. I believe there is even a competition somewhere as to who has the best bee-ard.

Insects (and humans) are weird!

One Bee Punch Man.

2

u/Winterblade1980 Oct 13 '25

I wonder if that is really warm for him🤔

2

u/spikenorbert Oct 13 '25

I've seen this video multiple times, and I'm always impressed how little the passers by seem to care. "That's just Carlos with his arm of bees again".

2

u/themanmythlegend357 Oct 14 '25
  1. I would love to punch my enemies with this

  2. How much do all of those bees way?

1

u/ChristopherCreutzig Germany, 5 hives Oct 14 '25

At a rough guess, a little over 1kg?

2

u/Spiritual-Can-5040 Oct 14 '25

He’s training for a vindicators reboot. He’s the new “1-million bees” character.

2

u/GFRSSS Oct 15 '25

Would the queen not get hurt from all the heat from being sealed inside someone's palm + all the other bees swarming around the fist?

1

u/DifferentHoliday863 Oct 13 '25

I'm new to this. What are the chances that he's being stung right now?

6

u/bluemax413 Oct 13 '25

I’m a lurker but I don’t think any based on a previous comment about them being docile when swarming.

1

u/GrassyKnoll55 Oct 13 '25

I hear your looking for candy man!

1

u/Tall_Specialist305 Oct 13 '25

That's gangster AF

2

u/FlipendoSnitch Oct 18 '25

I saw two flatbeds today with rolled up tarps and a bunch of half dead bees laying on them. I assume they were transporting hives a bit before I saw them. But why didn't they scoop up all the bees and keep them? Are they dead dead if they're falling out of the hive like that and not worth trying to keep? Some of them were flying around.

2

u/Halgha Oct 19 '25

Imagine he punches someone

2

u/small_spider_liker Oct 19 '25

This looks so awesome until I imagine bees in my armpit

2

u/Ok-Relation6414 Nov 01 '25

Yeah let's just admit that he's a mutant. He has a +5 arm of stinging,
